Grief & Loss

Grief is a deeply personal response to loss and can affect emotional, physical, and cognitive functioning in many different ways. It may involve sadness, longing, anger, guilt, numbness, or difficulty adjusting to life without what has been lost. Although grief is a natural process, it can sometimes feel unrelenting or interfere with daily life and functioning.

Therapy provides a space to process the emotional impact of loss without judgment, while also supporting adjustment to life changes that follow. Treatment focuses on helping you make sense of your experience, stay connected to what is meaningful, and gradually find a way to move forward while still honoring the significance of the loss.

  • Do you struggle to adjust to daily life or feel like things have lost their meaning after a loss?

  • Do you experience guilt, regret, or “what if” thoughts related to the person or situation you lost?

  • Do you find yourself withdrawing from others or feeling isolated in your grief?
